This 6-week Beginners course is designed to introduce you to the foundations of yoga in a supportive and unheated environment.

Each week we will explore and breakdown different postures, breathing techniques, meditation and relaxation helping you build confidence in your yoga practice.

Perfect for complete beginners or those wanting to go back to basics, this course will help you:

• Learn key foundational yoga poses by breaking them down with a strong focus on safe alignment.

• Improve flexibility, balance, and strength.

• Develop a sense of body awareness and relaxation.

By the end of the 6 weeks, you’ll feel more comfortable on the mat and ready to join regular classes with confidence. No experience is required—just bring yourself and a willingness to try something new.

We’ll break down postures such as: Bridge pose, Melting heart pose, Pigeon pose, camel pose. Expect to leave class feeling open, light, and relaxed.

  • Monday 13th October 18:30 - 19:30

Breaking down each of these postures in our Sun Salutation A and Classical Sun Salutation. Taking our time to go over each posture before building it up into a flowing movement with breath. Expect to leave the class feeling reenergised.

  • Monday 20th October 18:30 - 19:30

    Focus:
This final week is about bringing everything we’ve explored together. We’ll link breath and movement into a gentle flow that incorporates foundational postures, standing strength, core stability, sun salutations, hip openers, and a longer relaxation at the end. This is an opportunity to experience yoga as a whole practice and to feel confident taking what you’ve learned forward. Expect to leave class feeling grounded, accomplished, and calm.
